The University of Iowa Old Capitol Museum and Museum of Natural History—in collaboration with the UI Department of Geoscience—will host the eighth annual Creepy Campus Crawl this Friday, Oct. 26. This night of spooky fun is free and open to the public from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Craft-making activities will include paper-pumpkins, spooky spiders, miniature ghosts, masks, coloring pages, rocket building, and rock monsters. Other activities will include Iowa ghost stories, explorations of the museums, movies, a life-size board game, and an opportunity to learn the Wrackspurt dance from Harry Potter. Participants can also have photos taken with Mario and Luigi, Princess Peach, Pokémon trainers, Link and Zelda, Perseus, Luna Lovegood, Frankenstein, and legends of Rock.

Free bags of goodies will be given to the first 1,000 visitors. Visitors can also sign up to win a prize donated by community business members.
