About 100 employers will attend
Monday, September 24, 2012

The University of Iowa College of Engineering will hold its annual Fall Career Fair from 1 until 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Main Lounge of the Iowa Memorial Union in Iowa City.

Significantly—and perhaps reflecting an improved job market for engineers—the available booths for employers wanting to participate in the fair are virtually sold out.

About 100 employers are participating in the fair, seeking talented UI students for co-op, internship, and full-time positions in the areas of biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical, industrial, and mechanical engineering, as well as computer science. Participating employers are looking for December 2012 and May 2013 graduates, in addition to students for co-ops and internships during the fall and summer.
