The University of Iowa Pentacrest Museums will host the Macbride Raptor Project’s “Iowa Birds of Prey” traveling program in the Biosphere Discovery Hub of the Museum of Natural History on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 2 p.m.

The interactive program, which is free and open to the public, features a live hawk and owl. Visitors will also learn about identification characteristics and habitat requirements for the raptors in the program. The event is co-sponsored by the Iowa Young Birders in celebration of Young Birders Day 2012.
