Update (June 22, 10 AM): Iowa City Police have released additional information about the shooting, the victim, and the ongoing investigation. They report that the area has been thoroughly searched, and that they no longer believe Iowa City's general population is at any increased risk of danger.

Shooting reported in the area of Melrose and Mormon Trek. Police are looking for an armed suspect. If you are in the area, remain indoors. Don't confront suspect. Call 911 only if you have info or an emergency.
