University of Iowa students, staff, and faculty who are concerned about gender equity, sexual harassment, diversity, and opportunities for women are invited to apply for membership in the UI Council on the Status of Women (CSW).

The council is now accepting applications for the 2012–13 election term. Known for its commitment to advocacy, leadership development, and cross-campus networking, the council brings together an active and diverse group of UI students, staff, and faculty members to address issues that make a difference in the lives of all women at the university.

CSW works with the UI Chief Diversity Office to promote a diverse and inclusive campus. For more information on the council, visit www.uiowa.edu/~csw or contact Julie Blair at 319-335-0488 or julie-blair@uiowa.edu.
