The Antlers will headline the Mission Creek Festival at Blue Moose Tap House on March 31. Doors open at 8 p.m. The show starts at 9 p.m. The event is presented by the Mission Creek Festival and SCOPE Productions.

With music that explores depth of emotion through lyrically sound tracks, The Antlers bring a haunting, intimate addition to the Mission Creek line-up.

The band’s 2009 album, Hospice, about a hospice worker who falls in love with a dying patient, earned the band critical acclaim as well as a cult following.

The Antlers’ fourth and most recent studio album, Burst Apart, exemplifies qualities of electronic music without depriving the listener of any emotional depth. Imbued with seductive guitars, taut rhythms, and hypnotic melodies, Burst Apart is simultaneously introspective and animated.

Tickets are available at the University of Iowa Box Office, located in the Iowa Memorial Union; at Blue Moose Tap House, 211 Iowa Ave., Iowa City; and at all other Ticketmaster locations.

Persons with disabilities are encouraged to call 319-335-3395 for special seating accommodations.
