Although the first winter storm of the season is slowing things down a bit and making travel tricky, the University of Iowa campus—including UI Hospitals and Clinics—is operating normally today, Thursday, Dec. 20.

University of Iowa Mock Trial sent three teams to St. Paul, Minn. Dec. 1-2 to compete at Macalester College. It also sent one team to New Haven, Conn. to compete at Yale University.

University of Iowa President Sally Mason has selected Tom Rocklin, vice president for student life, and Richard Fumerton, a professor of philosophy and past president of the Faculty Senate, to chair a committee to search for a new vice president for strategic communication.
