The University of Iowa School of Art and Art History will host ArtsFest from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the Studio Arts Building at 1375 Highway 1 West in Iowa City. ArtsFest is a free, interactive art experience that will feature artwork by UI students, as well as demonstrations and hands–on opportunities in studio art and art history.

Second annual Jane Jacobs Walk to take place May 4

The University of Iowa School of Urban and Regional Planning, along with the Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature, and the Center for the Living, will host a Jane Jacobs Walk through the emerging neighborhood north of downtown Iowa City from 3-4:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4.
