Board of Regents announces composition of presidential search committee

The Iowa Board of Regents has announced the composition of the University of Iowa Presidential Search and Screen Committee. The 21-person-committee will include nine representatives from the UI faculty and three members of the Board of Regents.

UI Children's Hospital has a nationally acclaimed team of doctors and nurses who treat children with arrhythmias, host an annual conference for these patients and their families, and are leading participants in studies. Amanda Kurovski of Des Moines is one such young person who has benefited. She has an implantable cardioverter defibrillator to manage an arrhythmia, diagnosed when she was 15.
