Students on the UI’s summer Irish Writing Program have the opportunity to work with esteemed Irish writers and academics to hone their craft while taking in Dublin’s rich cultural and literary history. This is one of many programs to be represented at the spring Study Abroad Fair Thursday, Jan 29.

More than 300 middle school students, primarily from Eastern Iowa, were in Coralville in mid November to participate in the 18th annual University of Iowa International Day for Human Rights. This year students learned about “The Human Right to a Clean Environment.”
Graduate student from Greece hopes to help rural communities as a hospital administrator

Anastasios “Tasos” Papachristoudis, a graduate student from Greece, was drawn to the UI because of its strong Master of Health Administration Program; he hopes to gain experience serving as an administrator in a rural hospital where he can also be an active part of the community.
