Piano Sundays resumes with re-dedication of 'Rose' Feb. 3

The University of Iowa Pentacrest Museums continues its free concert series, Piano Sundays, starting Sunday, Feb. 3, in the Senate Chamber of Old Capitol Museum. The landmark event features a restored 1878 Steinway concert grand piano that has been named “Rose.”

Iowa Lakeside Laboratory offers summer scholarships

UI graduate Brittany McConnell discovered she wanted to pursue a career in environmental science after taking a course at the Iowa Lakeside Laboratory last summer. Scholarships are now available for the first 50 students who apply for the 2013 summer session.
