Junior Anthony Ferguson initially came to the University of Iowa in the fall of 2011 to play for the Hawkeye football team. However, after one season, he felt a calling to something greater. He left the team and created a community organization, Young, Black, and Educated. Story

Pollock's 'Mural' inspires pianist Knight

Figge to display art by UI faculty

 Photo:  "History, 2012" -- a work by University of Iowa's Susan Chrysler White, made from acrylic, enamel, glassine, plexiglass, and wool on canvas -- is among art displayed in a new exhibit opening Saturday at the Figge Art Museum, Davenport.
