Andrea Gutman, a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Iowa, has been selected as one of 10 fellows in the 2015 Society for Neuroscience’s (SfN) Early Career Policy Fellows, a program for early career neuroscientists to learn how to become effective advocates for science.

Today, the UI junior credits the experience with her decision to become a physician assistant and help sick children, especially those living in poverty.
