Neil deGrasse Tyson visits UI campus

Celebrated astrophysicist and science communicator Neil deGrasse Tyson visited the University of Iowa this week. Tyson stopped by an astronomy class, held court in a casual chat with invited faculty and students, strolled the streets of Iowa City, and gave a spirited public talk at the Memorial Union.

Through the service, any student, faculty, or staff member can schedule a complimentary one-hour on-campus appointment with an elder specialist, who can address just about any issue, from living arrangements and transportation to insurance and financial issues.
