Biography

Wei Bao, MD, PhD, is a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Department of Epidemiology at the UI College of Public Health. His research interests mainly focus on nutritional and molecular epidemiology of diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases. He also is interested in environmental risk factors for obesity, diabetes, and neurodevelopmental outcomes. His research is funded by the NIH, the State of Iowa, and the University of Iowa.
