The Cubs Trophy Tour, presented by State Farm, is coming to the University of Iowa, giving fans the opportunity to see and take photos with the 2016 World Series Trophy. The trophy will be at the Iowa Memorial Union’s Second Floor Ballroom from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 30.

A few things to remember:

  • Doors to the Second Floor Ballroom in the IMU will open to the public at 3 p.m.
  • The first 500 fans will receive a wristband to ensure their ability to see the trophy. Additional fans will be accommodated if time permits.
  • Please be patient and courteous to those around you in line.
  • Please plan to have everyone from your party wait in line together.
  • Public restrooms are available; you may leave your place in line and return, if needed.
  • Backpacks, bags, and purses are not permitted in trophy photos. Guests are strongly encouraged not to bring these items.

Once you are near the trophy:

  • Take off your coat, hat, and purse. Anything you do not want in the photo can be handed to a staff person who will bring it to the other side of the room, and you can pick it up on your way out.
  • You may take an individual photo or a group photo, but not both. If it’s a group photo, only one camera/cell phone will be used.
  • Turn off your flash.
  • Turn off your zoom.
