The University of Iowa Museum of Natural History begins its spring “Storytime Adventures” series on Sunday, April 21, at 3 p.m. Join us on the third Sunday of each month as we explore animals and the environment in Iowa and around the world.

The UI Museum of Natural History features four permanent galleries exploring natural history and emerging scientific research in Iowa and beyond. For more information about the UI Museum of Natural History or the Storytime Adventures series, call Sarah Horgen at 319-335-0606 or visit www.uiowa.edu/mnh.

This month’s feature is forest animals. Stories and hands-on activities are geared toward elementary-aged children and their families. People are encouraged to call ahead for groups with more than 10 participants.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UI-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, contact the UI Pentacrest Museums and the UI Museum of Natural History at 319-335-0606.
