The final weekend of the University of Iowa International Writing Program fall residency will open with a panel discussion, “Images of America,” at noon, Friday, Nov. 2, in the Iowa City Public Library.

At this panel discussion, which is free and open to the public, IWP writers are invited to come up to the podium and share their “images of America.” Pizza and beverages will be offered.

In addition, IWP residents Alisa Ganieva (Russia) and Bilal Tanweer (Pakistan) will read from their works at 4 p.m, Sunday, Nov. 4, in Prairie Lights Books in downtown Iowa City. Admission is free.
