Friday, July 27, 2012

Leaders of University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City announced today that Iowa’s only comprehensive academic medical center has again been recognized as one of the nation’s most wired hospitals.

Hospital leaders say the recognition is the result of the hospital’s strategy to use information technology to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes.

The results were reported in the 2012 Most Wired Survey by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine.
