Registration is now available for UI Recreational Services' spring 2012 Learn to Row camps.

Participants will learn rowing technique, boat handling, safety, and teamwork. Rowing machines, an indoor rowing tank, and racing shells will be used throughout the camp. The first day will include a swim test at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center.

All sessions start Sunday, April 1 from 6 to 8 pm. Classes are five weeks long, and sessions are offered Thursdays and Sundays from 5:30 to 7 a.m., 7 to 8:30 a.m., 4 to 5:30 p.m., and 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The fee is $110 for members and $120 for nonmembers. The registration deadline is Mar 29.
