Allison Bruhn, Carol Klose Smith, and Armeda Stevenson Wojciak, all College of Education faculty, were awarded educational grants from the Center for Educational Transformation, an Iowa Regents center based at the University of Northern Iowa.

The CET is a collaborative designed to transform PreK–12 education in Iowa and nationwide by conducting and disseminating research on emerging and critical education issues.

Bruhn, assistant professor of special education, received a grant for her project "Improving Intervention Implementation Using Data-Based Individualization," which will take place in Iowa City Community Schools.

Smith, clinical associate professor in counselor education and supervision, and Wojciak, assistant professor in couple and family counseling, received a grant for their project "We Can! Testing a Trauma-Informed Care Training in Iowa Elementary Schools."
