Tippie College of Business students Cassandra Hansen and Dolan Guhin recently captured first place in the American Marketing Association’s AcuRite Digital Marketing Competition, held earlier this month at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

The marketing majors had one hour at the competition to develop a 10-minute presentation analyzing how the struggling consumer electronics retailer Best Buy used all of its marketing channels to save its business how those channels supported its overall strategy.

The pair beat out 14 other teams in the competition.
