You@UI will be bustling with 3,000 prospective students and parents
Friday, September 18, 2015

On Saturday, Oct. 3, the University of Iowa campus will be bustling with 3,000 prospective students and parents at the second annual You@UI Academic and Student Life Open House. This event is the University of Iowa's largest and most in-depth campus visit experience—and help from the campus community will make it a success.

This full-day of activities provides visitors with an up-close view of the UI's world-class academic programs and co-curricular activities. At You@UI, prospective students and their families will be able to participate in a wide variety of sample lectures and interactive sessions with our faculty, student life staff, and current UI students. They'll also have opportunities to tour campus, explore downtown Iowa City, enjoy lunch in our residence halls, and experience the excitement of Kinnick Stadium.

Please sign-up to volunteer at the You@UI website and help make this event a success. Volunteers can help out for a few hours or all day—any help will be appreciated. Volunteers will receive a confirmation email after they sign up and a reminder email before the event. All volunteers are entitled to enjoy a free lunch in the Burge or Hillcrest Market Place on the day of You@UI.

For additional questions related to volunteering for this event, contact the You@UI Volunteers Committee leaders, Tina Arthur or Lisa Von Muenster, at youatui@uiowa.edu.
