Erin Robinson, a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Social Work, is the recipient of the 2015 GADE Student Award for Teaching in Social Work.

The GADE Student Award for Teaching in Social Work is given to an individual doctoral student who has demonstrated outstanding qualities as a social work educator. The student’s record should evidence impact, creativity, and overall effectiveness as an instructor. GADE stands for Group for the Advancement of Doctoral Education.

Robinson, a native of Winterset, Iowa, will receive her award Oct. 16 at the Council on Social Work Education Conference in Denver, Colorado. The award includes a $1,000 prize and covers her travel costs to the conference.
