Allison L. Bruhn and Erica Kaldenberg, of the College of Education, published “Examining the Effects of Functional Assessment-Based Interventions With High School Students” in May.

The co-authors on the Preventing School Failure: Alternative Education for Children and Youth article were Kemlyn Tan Bappe, Brian Brandsmeier, Ashley Rila, Lindsay Lanphier, Megan Lewis, and Alexandra Slater.

Bruhn is an assistant professor of special education in the College of Education at the University of Iowa. Kaldenberg is an educational support services director at UI REACH in the College of Education at the University of Iowa.
