Marketing Institute provided real world experience

A team of University of Iowa marketing students recently worked with Dane’s Dairy to develop a new marketing plan for the 55-year old Iowa City landmark.

The students worked as business consultants through the Tippie College of Business’ Marketing Institute to develop a new menu and pricing policy for the venerable ice cream shop. Their work was unveiled when Dane’s opened for another season in April.

Student team members are as follows: Tyler Hackman of Lawler, Iowa, Makenzie Pick from Ankeny, Iowa, John Staak from Iowa City, and Olivia Molof from Bartlett, Illinois.
