Testing of the upgraded audio system at Kinnick Stadium will occur over the next couple of weeks. The new system will improve the sound quality within the stadium seating bowl.

Beginning Wednesday, July 30 through Saturday, Aug. 2, intermittent low-level audio and white noise may be heard within and in the general vicinity of the stadium.

The second phase of testing, scheduled for Monday, Aug. 4 through Saturday, Aug. 9, will verify the system is functioning per the design and will utilize slightly higher decibel levels. The final phase of testing will occur within a 45-minute window on Saturday, Aug. 9, sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. with audio levels reaching slightly above game day levels.

All audio testing for the Kinnick Upgrade Audio project will be complete by Aug. 9 at 1 p.m.
