June 18 UI town hall forum will introduce Phase 2
Wednesday, June 11, 2014

An update summarizing Deloitte Consulting’s Phase 1 findings from the Iowa Board of Regents' Rising to the Next TIER (a Transparent, Inclusive Efficiency Review) program is now available on the board’s website.

The first two pages of the document provide background information on Deloitte’s Phase 1 review. Page three lists eight areas of opportunity identified by Deloitte for further analysis in Phase 2.

Complete information about the TIER initiative, including regular updates issued throughout the project, is available on the UI's TIER website, efficiency.uiowa.edu.

To officially kick off Phase 2, the board will again hold Town Hall public forums at each of the regents universities during the weeks of June 16 and June 23.

The forums are designed for the campus community and the general public to ask questions, express concerns, provide input, and gain additional information on Deloitte’s Phase 2 review.

The University of Iowa public forum will be held Wednesday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the second Floor Ballroom of the Iowa Memorial Union.

The town hall forum will be streamed live on the UI's TIER website, which offers additional details.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UI-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to attend this public forum, contact the UI Office of the President in advance at 319-335-3549 or at president@uiowa.edu.
