Come celebrate “Hooray for May!” at the next University of Iowa Museum of Art (UIMA) First Friday on Friday, May 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at FilmScene, on the downtown Iowa City Pedestrian Mall at 118 E. College St. First Friday is free and open to the public.

UIMA will be presenting the artwork of four Master of Fine Arts (MFA) student employees.

• Alexandra Janezic – MFA Book Arts, May 2015

• Sarika Sugla – MFA Printmaking, May 2014

• Meng Yang – MFA Graphic Design, May 2014

In addition, short art films by William Wegman will be shown in the theater.
