The University of Iowa Mobile Museum will travel to the Iowa Archaeological Society spring meeting in Decorah on Saturday, May 3.

The museum—a collaboration between the Office of the State Archaeologist, the Old Capitol Museum, and the UI Museum of Natural History—will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot at Luther College Library, 700 College Dr.

The 38-foot, custom-built RV features exhibits on Iowa history, archaeology and paleontology, as well as an interactive digital wall that invites visitors to explore UI research and creativity. "Iowa’s Ancient Agriculturalists,"an exhibit curated by the Office of the State Archaeologist, tells the story of the Glenwood culture centered in the Loess Hills of Western Iowa more than seven centuries ago.
