Tuesday, April 8, 2014

Erin Church, a senior from Maple Grove, Minn., discusses her honors thesis work on sexual assault and coercion prevention, a project developed with her mentor, associate professor Teresa Treat from the University of Iowa Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

Church is one of 100 UI undergraduates, representing 30 areas of study, who will present their research projects at the Spring Undergraduate Research Fair this Wednesday, April 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor atrium of University Capitol Center. There also will be 125 graduate and professional students who will judge the poster presentations.

The research fair is organized by the Iowa Center for Research by Undergraduates, which has funded promising undergraduate researchers for more than a decade.
