University of Iowa President Sally Mason is seeking students to participate in a sexual assault advisory committee.

Forming the committee is one of the goals included in the Six-Point Plan to Combat Sexual Assault that Mason announced on Feb. 28. Read the plan here.

The committee will provide Mason and her senior staff with input on the university’s procedures, policies, and practices related to sexual misconduct.

Any student currently enrolled at the UI is eligible to serve. The committee will meet regularly during the school year, with the possibility of additional meetings from time to time.

To apply, students should fill out a brief application at uiowa.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0GjS26iWapAdMdn by 5 p.m. Monday, March 17.
