The University of Iowa is again among the top 100 best values in higher education for both in-state and out-of-state tuition, according to Kiplinger's Personal Finance magazine.

Kiplinger's Best Values in Public Colleges 2014 ranks the UI among other four-year public colleges and universities in the country that deliver a stellar education at an affordable price.

Colleges and universities were ranked according to academic quality, including admission and retention rates, student-faculty ratios, and four- and six-year graduation rates, as well as on cost and financial aid.

The ranking follows the Fiske Guide to Colleges’ designation of the UI in July as a “Best Buy” for the ninth straight year.
