Get an up-close look at the production behind the Hawkeyes' tunnel walk at Kinnick
Wednesday, November 20, 2013

One of the more exciting aspects of the "Kinnick Experience" is the tunnel walk.

Anyone who has attended an Iowa football game knows the drill: the large video screen fills with the image of the players heading down the tunnel toward the field, all while the opening chords of AC/DC's "Back in Black" fill the air. As the players emerge from the mouth of the tunnel, the music shifts to Metallica, and the stadium display shows the opponent's symbol torn asunder by a black-and-gold 18-wheeler. The I-O-W-A flags are hoisted, Herky begins his mad dash, and the players swarm the field.

Take a behind-the-scenes look at the Iowa football pregame tradition and how the hard-working HawkVision production staff provide you with an up-close look before every home game at Kinnick Stadium. (And by the way, the Hawks wrap up the home slate against the Michigan Wolverines this weekend...go Hawks!)
