S.T.A.T. (Students Today, Alumni Tomorrow) provided fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes with a wonderful experience Thursday, Sept. 12, hosting the Beat State Week Pep Rally on the Pentacrest.

University of Iowa President Sally Mason and former Iowa quarterback Brad Banks made appearances at the rally, which featured food, prizes, games, and a contest to find the ultimate "Super Fan." Herky and the Iowa Spirit Squad were on hand to get the crowd pumped up for Saturday's game, which kicks off at 5 p.m. in Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.

S.T.A.T. partnered with UI Student Government, Campus Activities Board, Hawks Nest, Hawkeye Caucus, and the Department of Athletics to put on this black-and-gold extravaganza.
