The University of Iowa Department of Dance will present a graduate and undergraduate dance concert at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 6-8, in Space Place Theater of North Hall.

The performance will feature:

  • Scattered Accumulation, choreographed and performed by Lindsay Fisher.
  • Once There Was Space, choreographed by Michael Medcalf and featuring dancers Emma Carson, Jeremy Graves, Derrick Kolpanen.
  • Timido/Schietto, choreographed by Sophia Anna Sednova Sparham and featuring dancer Crystal Gurrola.
  • Me, Trying to Keep Up With Me, choreographed and performed by Marisha Johnson.
  • Thrush, choreographed by Jeremy Blair and featuring dancers Madeline Curry and Marie Mortensen.
  • The Paper Bag Princess, choreographed by Jessica Anthony and featuring dancers Lauren Linder, Derek Laughlin, and Chad Leonard.
  • Calm Before the Storm, choreographed and performed by Hope Spear.
  • View From Inside, choreographed by Lindsay Fisher and featuring dancer Marie Brown in addition to Fisher.
  • The Lesson, choreographed and performed by Alexandra Bush.

Admission is $12 ($6 for senior citizens and youth, free to UI students with a valid UI ID); tickets are available in advance through the Hancher Box Office at 319-335-1160, 800-426-2437, or www.hancher.uiowa.edu/tickets.
