A physician who cares for patients at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City is the recipient of the 2013 American-British and Canadian Traveling Fellowship, considered one of the greatest honors in the field of orthopedic surgery.

Brian Wolf, M.D., M.S., an associate professor in the UI Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, received the award in recognition of his skill as a surgeon, educator, and researcher. He also won the American Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Society Traveling Fellowship in 2010.

Wolf’s selection brings to seven the number of UI orthopedic surgeons who have won the American-British and Canadian Traveling Fellowship since its inception in 1948.
