Children ages 4 and older will have an opportunity to make ornamental eggshell mosaics during a workshop set for 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, at the University of Iowa Old Capitol Museum. UI Art History and Studio Arts student Emily Schaum will lead the workshop.

The event is offered in conjunction with Old Capitol’s current exhibit, “Art Iowa: Inspired by Landscape.” The workshop is free and open to the public, although a $3 donation is suggested to help cover the cost of materials, which will be provided. Space is limited, so please call the Old Capitol at 319-335-0548 to reserve a spot.
