Know a University of Iowa staff member who's done something really great for the university, the community, or the state? Now's your chance to nominate her or him for some of the university's top staff honors.

The UI Staff Council welcomes nominations for annual awards by Thursday, June 7. Any member of the university community—staff, faculty, or student—can nominate colleagues for the following:

• Board of Regents Excellence Award: Recognizes staff for outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the institution and the state
• UI Outstanding Staff Award: For current staff whose accomplishments or contributions have benefited or brought recognition to the university
• David J. Skorton Award for Excellence in Public Service: Honors individuals who've shown exceptional imagination and dedication to improving the UI community.

Complete nominations must include a letter of nomination, two additional letters that support the nomination, a curriculum vitae or resumé of the nominee, and the nominee's current job description.
