People with tinnitus may be eligible to participate in a University of Iowa study examining a method for testing tinnitus.

To be eligible, individuals must fit the following criteria:

• Between 18 and 70 years old and have a tinnitus that does not change from day to day
• Have had tinnitus for five years or less.

Participation in the study involves three visits over a six-week period to the tinnitus clinic at UI Hospitals and Clinics. Each visit will last approximately two hours and will include tests for hearing and tinnitus and completion of questionnaires. Compensation is provided.
