Mural moves to Des Moines
Jackson Pollock's Mural is lifted down a flight of stairs by a crane.A crew from the UI Museum of Art, the Des Moines Art Center, the Figge Art Museum, and Methods and Materials, a fine art installation company, worked together to get Jackson Pollock's Mural ready to ship to Des Moines.

The University of Iowa Museum of Art’s painting Mural by world-renowned American artist Jackson Pollock will be on display at the Des Moines Art Center April 5 through July 15.

After almost three years at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa—where more than 150,000 Iowa residents, students, and visitors have enjoyed it—this masterpiece will be presented to audiences in central Iowa for the first time.
