People lined up outside the Iowa Memorial UnionUI students and others headed to the Iowa Memorial Union Monday in hopes of getting free tickets to U.S. President Barack Obama's April 25 speech.

The first few students arrived at the Iowa Memorial Union at 6 a.m. By noon, the line for free tickets to President Barack Obama's upcoming speech wound through the union, out the doors, and along the Iowa River to North Hall.

A few tickets remain for the April 25 speech at the UI Field House. The box office will distribute the remainder first come, first served starting at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24.
