Specially trained team to address concerns of bias
The University of Iowa is launching a new Campus Inclusion Team to help students deal with bias concerns on campus.

Division of Student Life University to honor legacy of MLK

The university will celebrate the life of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. with a Day of Service on Jan. 16 as well as a number of other events, including a lecture by writer and digital strategist Luvvie Ajayi, film screenings, symposiums, and more.

Luvvie Ajayi, author, speaker, and digital strategist, will present a lecture at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in the Old Capitol Senate Chamber as part of Theme Semester programming and Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration of Human Rights Week.
