Vice President for Student Life Tom Rocklin has announced he intends to retire in July 2017 after serving the University of Iowa in various capacities for 30 years. “I have been fortunate to have a career doing things that matter to me and working with people I admire,” Rocklin says.

The Roy J. Carver Charitable Trust has committed a $45 million grant to the University of Iowa that will allow for the creation of a comprehensive and cross-disciplinary neuroscience center within the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine.
