University of Iowa alumnus Kyle Ketelsen, who has performed for the world’s leading opera companies and orchestras, says his degree from the UI prepared him for the spotlight.

During its annual meeting, the Organization of American Historians (OAH) presented Linda Kerber, professor emerita in the Department of History in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, with the prestigious 2018 Roy Rosenzweig Distinguished Service Award.

University of Iowa President J. Bruce Harreld has appointed Dan Matheson the new chair of the Presidential Committee on Athletics. Matheson replaces Liz Hollingworth, who served two years as chair and will begin a two-year term as a faculty athletics representative on the committee.
