“The Season is the Reason” to celebrate at the next University of Iowa Museum of Art (UIMA) First Friday on Friday, June 6, from 57 p.m. at FilmScene, on the downtown Iowa City Pedestrian Mall at 118 E. College St. First Friday is free and open to the public. Popcorn will be free, and there will also be a cash bar.

UIMA will be presenting the film For No Good Reason, a visually stunning unique biographical film about artist and cartoonist Ralph Steadman. The film will be screened free of charge at 6:45 p.m.

UIMA First Fridays provide an ideal chance to usher in your weekend and mingle with other art-enthusiasts for a great cause. Consider becoming a UIMA member.
