The Carver College of Medicine Rural Iowa Scholars Program (CRISP) embeds rural elements in the medicine curriculum through mentorships, seminars, research, and field experiences in smaller communities. Program graduates are expected to practice in a rural Iowa community for at least five years after completing a qualifying residency. Story
