Alex Karras

Alex Karras, who played football for the University of Iowa in the 1950s, loved to perform. Famous for his success as an actor, he will also be remembered as one of the NFL's defensive stars of the 1960s. He died Wednesday of kidney failure at the age of 77. Story from: Philadelphia Inquirer
