The University of Iowa College of Engineering will hold the second annual Richard L. Valentine Distinguished Lecture from 3:30 to 4:20 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, in Room W290 of the Chemistry Building on the UI Campus. The talk is free and open to the public. Iowa’s three regents universities have announced participation in a unique program to encourage sustainability in all aspects of higher education. Called the Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment, and Rating System, the program is administered by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
