Dan Reed, the University of Iowa vice president for research and economic development, will deliver the first-ever State of Research Address at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, in the Art Building West (ABW) Auditorium (Room 240).
UI President Sally Mason will give opening remarks before Reed speaks on the topic: “Iowa: A Great Public Research University.” A reception will follow in the atrium.
Although free and open to the public, because of limited seating, registration is encouraged.
Parking is available in the lot west of ABW and across the street in the Hancher Commuter Lot.
This event is sponsored by the UI Office of Research and Economic Development, the Research Council, and the Faculty Senate.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UI-sponsored events. If you are a person with a disability who requires a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this program, contact Stephen Pradarelli in advance at 319-384-1282.
